Marie albanese Director of Westampton School

Marie Albanese - Westampton

Marie Albanese director at the Westampton school has been with us since 1992, over 18 years.

Maria started her career with KidAcademy as an Assistant Teacher in various classrooms of the Williamstown site. She pioneered the S.A.C.C (school aged child care) program for Williamstown as the programs’ School Age Supervisor. Marie became the Assistant Director in the Williamstown center in 1998.

Marie was the Director of the Mount Laurel School and eventually the director of Westampton where she is currently located. She successfully completed the accreditation process with NAEYC (National Association for Education for Young Children), putting KidAcademy in the top 5% of quality child care in the United States. Marie acquired her NAC (National Administrator Credential) certificate in 2005.

She has served as the Secretary for the Mount Holly Business Association for two years. Additionally, she was chosen to serve on a board for Burlington County for an organization called SFI. (Strengthening Families Initiative) This organization has gone nation wide and was formed to help families in communities on many levels, however, the focus is primarily to prevent child abuse by serving as a support system. She successfully completed hours of training in the prevention of child abuse as well as effective communications with families with in our center to promote positive relationships with their children.

“I love people. I love children. I love bringing out the best in someone, including myself. I strive for perfection in the completion of any task and thrive in positive environments of which I work to create and maintain. I am energized and provoked with any challenge given to me and will endure until the task is completed successfully. I sometimes rely on another person’s opinion of my work instead of trusting my own.“

“ I have grown up with KidAcademy and haven’t veered from this company due to the fact that it has always been a great company to work for. It has been the focus of my professional life for half of my entire life because I love it so much. Given the fact I have managed 4 out of the 6 centers, I have learned so many various management tactics. I have experienced different cultures, demographic areas, teaching styles, problem solving techniques, etc., that vary from school to school. I feel I am more socially integrated due to the various interactions I have had with so many families over the years. I have greatly valued to not remain stagnant in one school for the last 18 years as I feel it has given me the opportunity to be enriched in the diversity I have obtained by being in the different centers.”
