Emily Crivaro

I have had the pleasure of working at KidAcademy for 8 years now beginning as an assistant teacher, working my way up to Assistant Director, and then Center Director. I have my Bachelor’s Degree in American Studies from Rowan University and will soon also hold my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. KidAcademy is a school in which each child becomes family. Our teachers strive to meet every learning style and work hard to reach every level of learning. The teachers at KidAcademy truly love what they do and it is apparent when you enter the classrooms. I have worked for this company for so long because I love what they stand for and how they really take on the role of being educators and caretakers. KidAcademy provides both the nurturing and educational value that every parent would want for their child!

Danielle Simmons

Danielle Simmons is the Center Director of the Westampton school and has been with KidAcademy for 9 years. She has worked with all age groups, Pre-K being her niche, and has worked her way up to an administrative position. While working for KidAcademy, Danielle has obtained her Bachelor of Science from Stockton University and recently received her Masters of Science from Saint Joseph’s University.
I always contribute my growth and development as a child to KidAcademy Learning Center. It’s where I took my first steps, learned to read, and has offered me a career. I hope to instill a piece of love and learning in each child that steps foot through our doors. KidAcademy has been my home away from home and I hope to reflect that onto our current and prospective families!

Maria Clark

Maria is a United States Air Force retiree, who served over 20 years for our country and is world travelled. She has worked at our Westampton KidAcademy in multiple capacities for almost 4 years before assuming the Operations Director position in September 2016. Maria’s extensive business experience as well as leadership skills will greatly add value to the operation of our day care facilities. Her objective is to make the KidAcademy facilities the premier child learning center in NJ, by providing the highest level of quality and service and the best experience for both the children and the parents we serve. We strive every day to provide a lasting education in each child that comes through our center. Maria holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from University of Arizona and a minor in Accounting. At KidAcademy we are a great team with incredible passion for each individual child. I feel very proud and lucky to be part of such a great group of directors/teachers and I am appreciative for a new opportunity as the KidAcademy Operations Director.

Melanie Sofkos

Melanie Sofkos is the Center Director of the Mt. Laurel school and has been with KidAcademy since 1995. Melanie has worked with all age groups from 6 weeks to 5 years as well as supervising the School Age programs for our Summer Session. Melanie has credits towards her BS in Early Childhood Education from Rider University. She really loves people and enjoy communicating with staff and families as well.
My favorite thing about working with children is having the opportunity to watch them grow and develop. It’s awe-inspiring to watch an infant become a toddler and then a preschooler and know that I was fortunate enough to play a role in their learning and development through the years. I can honestly say that each day with children is a learning experience for me as much as it is for them!

Taylor Jackson

I am pleased to accommodate you as your Center Director at our Cherry Hill location. I received my Bachelor of Arts from Morgan State University and will be receiving my MBA from Wilmington University. My mission is to serve the families and ensure your child’s social welfare and development are priority. I have been working with children for the past 10 years and it has always been my passion. My previous experience comes from working in classrooms of all ages, providing respite care and advocating for foster children, case management services for juvenile boys in a therapeutic setting, and providing behavioral assistance to families of children with crisis and behavioral diagnosis. I have also had the opportunity to have the position as a Director at a daycare that I once attended as a child and a Program Supervisor at a group home. I look forward to laughs and giggles we will all share as we enjoy interacting with one another. Kid Academy is my priority and I will make sure your time here is memorable!

Debra Simmons

Debra was the Center Director for our Washington Township KidAcademy for 14 years before assuming the Regional Director position in July 2012. KidAcademy is honored and proud to have a person of Debra’s high caliber as our Regional Director. She brings to the position experience as a hands-on director for many years along with highly coveted management skills. Debra is one of the hardest working people you are ever going to meet, which means better run schools for your children. She is also the most dedicated individual that any Childcare center could have on their management team. If you ever have any questions concerning any issues, please do not hesitate to call Debra directly as she is always available to speak to our parents. She graduated from Chapman College in Orange County, California with an Associate’s degree in Business Management and a minor in Early Childhood Education. Prior to Debra joining KidAcademy, she served in the United States Air Force for 4 years working in the Command Post. She was in charge of the flying sorties schedules for all pilots and navigators as well as scheduling their ongoing training. Her position at the Command Post offered her first-hand knowledge and training of missions related to all aspects of the Flight Officers. We applaud this very worthy career. “I truly love working with the children and look forward to seeing KidAcademy strive to be the best childcare has to offer for our Pre-School Education”.
